For over fifty years, P’ Jaroon’s family cultivated wild Assam tea for miang in his village of Khun Lao on the border of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. When coffee came to Northern Thailand, Jaroon made the transition — and that same generational patience carried over into how he tends his trees and processes his harvest.
